On November 21, 2021, Ekpyrosis Press sponsored a global roundtable event entitled, “Philosophy and Critical Thinking in the 21st Century,” in celebration of the UN’s World Philosophy Day. The discourse among scholars from the US, UK, Iran, and Malaysia, covered a variety of topics, including modern challenges to philosophy, the political-economic and social role of philosophers, as well as man’s ability (and inability) to think beyond the given.
