Description
This book, “The Chalice of Monotheism,” offers a systematic exposition of Islamic theism grounded in Qur’anic revelation and the transmitted teachings of the Prophet Muḥammad (peace be upon him) and his purified progeny (peace be upon them). It advances the thesis that, although the principle of God’s existence and certain essential attributes may be affirmed through sound rational contemplation, the essence of divine reality and the qualitative nature of His attributes lie beyond the epistemic reach of both reason and mystical intuition. Consequently, it posits that the only coherent path to the knowledge of God is through divine self-disclosure as mediated by prophetic revelation.
